Closing The Racial Wealth Gap with Housing: Loan acquisitions to create and/or preserve affordable housing

Sennai is a graduate of Howard University's School of Business, with a B.B.A in International Business. As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Office of Asset Sales at HUD, Sennai’s main task includes executing complex non-performing loan transactions. These sales include residential loans and reverse mortgage loans totaling approximately $17 billion in unpaid principal balance. As such, Sennai has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of loss mitigation, due diligence analysis, asset valuation, pooling strategy, FHA claims/settlement, repurchases and negotiation. Sennai has held leadership positions in the compliance, risk and policies and procedures related spaces at HUD. During his 7 years in the mortgage world, Sennai has participated in all aspects of non-performing FHA loan sales collaborating with internal and external parties to maximize returns and close transactions. Ultimately, Sennai is passionate about the role our industry plays in improving people's lives and about helping mortgage professionals fulfill their potential.

Since 2001, Mr. Norris has been actively involved in the field of real estate investing, lending, overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, underwriting, servicing, loan production, foreclosures, and REO disposition. Since 2008 Mr. Norris, through various affiliate companies and managed funds, has acquired, managed, serviced and or disposed of residential NPL and REO assets worth more than $800 million throughout the United States.
Prior to focusing on the NPL market Mr. Norris was a partner in a boutique California hard money company where he was responsible for originating and or managing more than $300 million in private commercial loans. Mr. Norris spent six years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, receiving multiple commendations and achieving the rank of Sargent. He received his BA as well as an MBA from Southern Illinois at Carbondale.
